On the subject of apron height, this is from the DT text of "Willie o'Winsbury":

So she cast off her berry-brown gown
Stood naked on the stone
Her apron was low, her haunches round
Her face was pale and wan

...which served as proof that Janet was, in fact, pregnant. Any ideas as to the high/low apron contradiction?
