Dikrob, I can relate to that! In the beginning of being hooked I would check to see if I had a pretty full pack when I left home. Later, I would put in an extra pack 'just in case'. By the time I quit, I had as many as 3 extra packs in my purse 'just in case'.

When I was 20 years old and waiting for my last two checks to come from the job I had quit I ran out of money for groceries and lived for a little more than a week on Ritz crackers and a bag of marshmallows. But I had plenty of cigarettes...
