I'm saddened to report that Davie Henderson, power behind the Shetland Folk Festival, died on the 12th January 2014. Quoting The Shetland Times, he was, "...A man who knew how to get things done and have a bloody good time while doing it."

My condolences to all who knew him and loved him.
