The difference, Troll, is that Ford didn't need to understand the questions he was asked to successfully run his business. Bush needs to understand the stuff he has proven again and again he doesn't in order to be a good president. He can hire all the experts he wants, but if he doesn't have a grip on what's going on, he can't make good decisions, and will end up being used by them, instead of using them, to run the oval office.
