Google Music Timeline

This is kinda fun. Click on the graphs to explore the popularity of different genres of popular music since 1950. Google's operational definition of popularity how many albums from each year from each genre are in Google users music libraries. Obviously biased towards people with computers and high-speed internet connections (younger, more well-to-do?), but interesting to browse through anyway.
