Moos. So far as I know Lizzie put that tune to Alison Gross herself. It's probably one of the father's old pipe tunes.

Brian. I'm fairly certain that Lizzie's text is from print. In fact, if you look the booklet notes for the Musical Traditions double CD, I think it quotes sources for both text and tune.
