Subject: RE: Declutter and Fitness in early 2014
I got back out of bed about noon and had a small lunch - small because I did not feel like eating much. I ate the remainder for supper.

After lunch I knuckled down to figuring out how to apply for a Permanent Resident Card. I feel my body aging and Quebec will not give me a health card without the PRC even though the website for immigration says that a landed immigrant is a permanent resident; since I have my landed papers, I did not think I needed a PRC. I applied for citizenship but it looks as though it is going to take many more months; the PRC is said to be 82 days (when I applied for citizenship 18 months ago, they were about the same). I decided it might be the better part of valour to deal with it. It took most of the afternoon and tears of frustration. There is no one to ask; I do not fit the application as I immigrated in 1967. Finally, the guide said to mark not applicable and explain. So I wrote a letter of explantation and filled out what I felt I could. I have to wait until I go back to the mill to finish as the papers I need are down there. Yes, it makes sense because the papers for border crossing are only needed when we leave from there. SO all that is ready for printing; I'll take the printer back down so I can copy the other papers that are needed and mail it on Friday. I feel lighter.

Other than that: emails mostly deleted, one written to dear friend and mutual support person, watched some of the news - mostly bad - and now I am tired again. A few hours of good energy/day is all I am getting. Could be worse!
