The verdict is in...Sabine walks STRAIGHT THROUGH the litter box and poops as close to where the ceiling meets the floor as possible.

Deep sigh.

And I've had to chase Rufus out of that litter box several times.

There is no way possible to block that area off from the cats. It's way too complicated (and expensive) to build side walls to the room or (as I've wanted to do for 30 years) put in built-in drawers.

The good news, though, is it is now a LOT easier to clean up her mess and I can do it DAILY and continue to spray with Nature's Miracle. (And I'm going to make and try a repellent spray of cinnamon, rosemary, lavender, vinegar, and orange essential oil. In the meantime, I'll try the eucalyptus and lemon spray that I made and used the last time I cleaned out back there.)

Argh.
