I disagree, Eliza - at least I think I do. We might mean different things by punishment. From what little I have read, it doesn't sound to me that her mental health issues render her not responsible for her actions, which were quite deliberate and carried out with malicious intent. Not saying she doesn't need help. But it does sound like (again, I don't much about this situation) it is appropriate for her to be held criminally responsible for her actions.

In the fwiw department, I find the comments on this thread regarding her physical appearance to be offensive.
