Sonnet 26/01/06                                     MXLV

Have I reason to think you might be more
Than just beautiful woman? Will you share
Some of dreams' light, and with smile hopes restore?
Can I dream that there might be chance you'd care?
What can I do to earn a smile or give
Soft laughter cause? It seems that eyes can say
As much as all my words: Must longing live
Upon just glance? Has hope led heart astray?
Might I ask evening to explore your mind?
Would starlight guide our conversation? All
I ask is that we have a chance to find
If you are one that might my verses call.
Can I try to within my arms enfold
A vision that dreams upon page have told?
