There's stuff there that I play today:

Turkey In The Straw
Love's Old Sweet Song
Daisy Bell
At A Georgia Camp Meeting

The last one, in particular, is a great tune, and one of the first things I ever learned to play with a jazz band.

It strikes me on many occasions, these days, that the jazz stuff I used to play in the 1960s was around 20-40 years old in those days -and now it's 70-90 years old. And the music hall stuff I used to play at that time was about 60 years old - now it's over 100 years old!

Older than some of the stuff that we take for granted as folk these days, and which gets played in folk clubs. Which only goes to show that, in the end, it's the tune that matters - it either works or it doesn't - and if it works, it works.
