There will always be people who don't like the president for one reason or other, some reasons justified and others not. Hence the Secret Service. That said, just because a person is elected to an office doesn't mean that s/he's automatically worthy of respect; nor is the office. Respect comes with accomplishment. There was little worthy of respect in Bush's reign, and many people think not much worthy of respect in Obama's reign. Suck it up, buttercup. Such is life.
