The only date that the Centre can manage for the Reunion that corresponds with when the Steering Group members are available is Saturday 5th April so that is now the date for the reunion.

The event will simply be a meeting point to look at artefacts, meet old friends and bring in material and identify photos, recordings etc. At the moment we are planning to have stalls for each organisation represented displaying photos, ephemera etc and 2 areas of recordings, one for CDs already digitised and the other for reel to reel. We hope to have tea/coffee available, but as the event is to run 9 am to 4.30 pm visitors can come and go as they please and there are plenty of eating places in the vicinity. We don't have free parking unfortunately but we can advise on this later on.

We are still looking for a relatively cheap venue not too far away to hold a ceilidh in the evening. We hope there will be no shortage of musicians and callers who will give their services free to form the band. We will be selling tickets on the day but performers will obviously not require these. We will keep the tickets as cheap as we can but we will need to ticket to regulate numbers attending so we don't exceed the venue capacity.
