Well, I THINK Wes would let us know if prayers for healing needed to shift to prayers of compassion for loss. I would suspect that more surgery as well as care for Brendan and Bretta would make posting a pretty remote interest and that time has simply taken on a whole different quality to them right now. I know I would much rather that he spend every minute he can with his dear ones, than that he post here, no matter how anxious I am-- and believe me, I am too.

It is also well to remember in our own anxiousness over this that Wesley's first request was celebration of birth and life. So I would suggest that this is also a really good time to spend whatever time you can with babies and new parents right in your own backyard, and smell that new-baby sweetness as you think of Wesley's family.

And whatever is their situation right now, it really is in the very best of hands... we can but support that certainty.
