I've just heard that Jeremy has died of a heart attack aged 51. Such a nice man and a great musician, it's a very sad loss to us and to music.

Jeremy was a superb cello and violin player who played with national orchestras and taught music locally (N Lancs).

He also loved folk music and was a regular at clubs and sessions where he played beautifully, as you'd expect, but was also very supportive of beginning musicians and those of us who were nowhere near as good as he was. A true gentleman.

RIP bonny lad.
