Shift work is it, exactly, my friends. Mr. and I have been married 27 years. "Children" are now 22 and 16. He has had exactly 3 Christmases off in those years......cops, ya know. Somebody has to be out there "protecting" us.....we now voluntarily give up Christmas Eve/Day if there are any with small children at home and if we have it Off, so that they may have what we never did......we just always worked around the shift hours.......eat, open presents, whatever, whenever.....also, please remember the Doctors, nurses, firemen, paramedics, Ambulance personell, etc. on this day....they all work.
