Hi Megan,
don't know which island you are on - thankfully we are a peninsula (tho when the Rest and Be Thankful has a landslip we are getting on for being as cut off as an island - -!)
This tour has 4 gigs, Strachur being the last one.

On Monday 31st March they are at Glenfinnan / Church of St Mary and St Finnan (near where the Bonnie Prince landed)

Tuesday 1st April they are at St Andrew's in the Square (the church where Nancy McIlhose / 'Clarinda' was married)

Wednesday 2nd they are at Douglas Academy, Milngavie - base of the classical music equivalent of Plockton (good to see traditional and classical musicians meeting / mixing / sharing)

Thursday 3 April is the final performance at Strachur Memorial Hall (close to The Smiddy Museum where FOLK at the FORGE events are based - - in warmer weather!)

I am sure you will see some of these musicians on Ceilidh Trails come summer - and meantime perhaps you might purchase their cd, I believe each year a new one is produced featuring the final year students?

Check out Sgoil Chuiil na Gaidhealtachd (sorry, can't do Gaelic accents on my pc) / The Centre for Excellence in Traditional Music at Plockton High School, lots of info / cd sales etc there!
