I hope Rick Fielding doesn't read this thread because I gave him one of the lava rocks as a gift. I didn't tell him about Goddess Pele and her menopausal eruptions.
Catspaw there are a lot better things to suck on down there than lava rocks. How about guava fruit. You can pick them right off the tree.

When I went down to Hawaii, it was a for a surprise birthday party being held for a good friend. We all showed up at the airport for the big surprise. I had gone to Home Depot and had the boys make me a grass skirt out of lawn turf. I had scuba-diving flippers on my feet, coke bottle sunglasses and goofy wig and the stupidest hat you ever saw. Trying to board an airoplane with flippers on your feet is not the easiest manoeuver. The airport staff drove me everywhere on their electric cart. I think the staff were having the most fun with my costume.
