If you are interested in playing with old time musicians--country music from the '40's to the '70's, you might try several of the monthly meetings/programs of the Kansas Old Time Fiddlers, Pickers, and Singers. You get to play three songs, jam a little, or back-up others. Chapters in the Wichita area are Ark City, El Dorado, Yates Center, and Sedan.
