Correct, Vic, but in my opinion things have not been fine and dandy for many years, about 30, but the good clubs have survived, owing to the efforts of efficient volunteer amateurs, and a couple of clubs run by people who did it to make a commercial success have not.,and other clubs run by amateurs have closed, not necessarily because they were run badly. it could be and has been argued by some that all clubs have a limited life time.
constructive criticism is always useful, criticism that is not constructive and is made by someone with an agenda is something different.
