I always demand subtitles at a Dick Gaughan gig - but that's another matter!

I kept on asking my wife to turn the volume up during part 1 until our TV was on full and I still couldn't follow most of the dialogue.

Is the director/producer such a pratt as to not recognise such poor sound when reviewing the broadcast copy?
