I hope she is getting some sort of treatment, or at least good care and respite. Doesn't seem likely they would include some one in the study that getting no treatment at all could cause greater harm. In the meantime, take care of yourself!

Watching the geese and mallards on the Oconaluftee River from the balcony of our motel. Headed home tomorrow. Have hiked the high country and the low country in the mountains. Feel satiated. Sent out good thoughts and thoughts of gratitude to and for all of you from the highest point we reached, and imagined this good ship sailing in the clouds that wafted around us, all hands aboard and soaking in the magic of these ancient places.
