Roddy was a friend of my dad's , I remember hearing his laugh when I was a child and he would stay on our sofa after playing at the ampersand folk club .
When I was older I grew to love his music and went with my dad to the folk club.
When I moved to Coventry I would sometimes bump into him in ball hill and he always stopped to chat.
Sad to hear he is no longer with us, he was one of a kind , a truly unique individual , I'm honoured to have known him x
