many of us on the folk scene wish Ruth nothing but well. I was unaware of this controversy. there are a lot of loose ends to tie up when you embark on a career as a performer, and if you're not from a family with a long tradition of performing its a fearsome learning curve - and you're never completely flameproof whatever you do.
