After 18 years of lap-warming, greeting us at the door after road trips, helping us raise 4 dogs, decorating our house with ribbons (and the occasional but now much forgiven pointy cat toy found underfoot in the dark of night), and mostly just loving us with all she had...

we had to say good-bye to a dear old friend last night.
