Just listened to "Tanner's Farm."

A few words are hard to catch, but from what I do hear, which is most all of them, and what I know of how words sound and fit into sentences, I can't hear anything "offensive" (i.e., racist) in the lyrics.

Tanner was born in 1885 in north central Georgia. He's got that Deep-South accent that used to be the stereotype ("Don' evvuh say 'nevvuh' own the rivvuh!"), but that nowadays you mostly hear further South and nearer the coast.

Even Jimmy Carter, born further South but nearly forty years later sounds less "old-fashioned" to me than does Tanner.
