Many, many happy returns to my amazing husband. I still haven't found where he's hidden the picture - it's not in the attic and the cellar is too much of a mess to find it easily, but picture there must be, because he sure don't look, or act his age.

The birthday started early with a trip out to a concert by Gordon Bok and Carol Rohl last night, As ever, it was well worth the journey in the rain and having to sit on rather uncomfortable seats to hear two of our favourite performers in action.

Today there will be a family party to look forward to so we're hoping that the rain will hold off long enough to allow for sitting, or at least grilling, outdoors.
