Our final ballad workshop before the summer break will be this coming Sunday at 1pm in Avant Garde pub in King Street (near the Tron Theatre) and the theme is Marriage. We'll look at a ballad as a starter, and then move on to songs from the floor -- some of which have already been notified, and which should prove very educational/thought-provoking for listeners who are single!

Billy, the bar owner, will open at the back of noon, so there will be time for any - or all - of a pint, a coffee or a bowl of home-made soup.
