Left-clicking the zip file, called USB2.0%20Driver, yields one file, named USB20. Leftclicking that file, USB20, yields the following list:

Printing the Version.txt file gives:

Nothing tells me what the function of this driver is, nor where it is to be located. I cannot imagine that it is to permanently reside on and operate from Desktop, where it was put by the download process.
