We just got back from our friends Greg and Cathy and their three charming tots. Great dinner, lotsa laffs and then downstairs to pick some bluegrass. Heather doesn't play but she'a a wonderful audience!

Getting nervous (as I always do) about cooking for 14 tomorrow. Can't help remembering three years ago when the stove went on the fritz and I had to drive the turkey to a friends house...and then go back and get it again! One habit from childhood stays the same. I'll make candied yams with raisins and butter...yum. Happy Christmas, and holidays folks.
