The onions looked good yesterday evening and I slid them into the freezer. It dawns on me now that that isn't a frost free freezer so the moisture won't be sucked out. I'll transfer them to smaller pans that fit in the frost free side-by-side freezer later today and that should pull the moisture out so I can bag them and not have to keep them in the freezer. They'll be big green bits of onion that I can use in salads or topping on pizzas, etc.

No news on the car repair yet. A co-worker described a long wait for an out of town repair a couple of years ago (in her case, a dead CPU - yes, cars have computers). It's unusual for me to have to go through this but at least it isn't unheard of. We're almost at the end of the third week of waiting.
