My guitar teacher in the 70's was one such, and he was one of the most intelligent, exemplary, and downright excellent people I have ever had the pleasure to know. He was far too intelligent to consent to being shipped off to Asia to shoot and blow up Vietnamese peasants. Time has shown the wisdom of his decision.
