It turns out that the hole made by the turtle coming into the yard was the hole that Zeke enlarged to exit. When we realized we hadn't seen him for a while and started looking he'd been out of the yard for a couple of hours. They can travel so far sometimes! It took putting up signs at a couple of main intersections and someone saw him and called. He was hot and stinky - I think he'd been in the creek, possibly in people's compost. He had a bath, as did Cinnamon. Poppy seems to have hurt herself, she protests when I try to look - I think maybe she tried to follow Zeke and got poked on the fence wire. Watching her closely and a trip to the vet on Monday if needed.
