I'm English and live in London and believe that we could be better together – if we had a government that cared about all the regions from Cornwall up to the Shetlands.
However, if Scots really want independence then more power to them.
I once told Dick Gaughan that I supported his independence campaign because it would mean I would no longer have to deal with "those jumped up little Rob Roys in the Edinburgh tax office".
