Because I have some hearing loss, I was delighted to find "closed caption" available for many TV programs.......... but it seems the process is automated in many instances, by some voice-to-word program, leading to what must be very confusing news stories for totally deaf folks..

Recent ones included "line late" for 'limelight' and "Napoleon's secret" when discussing Napoleon's 'second exile'.

The scrolling text on various news sites is also a source of 'interesting' errors introduced by humans typing too fast. Somewhere I have a collection. (I do remember one about someone "sewing doubt".)
