Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Eleven More Months and Ten More Days
I've a strong memory of this song's chorus from a 78rpm record of my dad's in the early 1950s -- sung in (what seemed to me at the time) a loose American harmony style.
(I'm talking about UK recordings and possibly British radio connections, though I have no awareness of that.)

He had other 78s which seemed similar to me then, such as 'Swaller- tail Coat' --

Gonna dress myself up in my swaller-tail coat,
With a jingle in my pocket and a song in my throat.
Gonna hold my head high, for my honey's reply -
Put a million, billion rainbows in the sky (dee dum, dee dee dum ba dee ba dee dee
                                                                                                                                    dum.)

We'll be honeymooning in the morning,
We'll be honeymooning in the evening.
Gonna count the minutes till the dawning
When we'll sing love's sweet song (dee dee dum, dee dee dum ba dee ba dee dee
                                                                                                                               dum.)

And a name which sticks from that long-ago time is 'Troise and his Mandoliers' -- does this ring any bells with 'Catters?
