Patrick's death is a sad loss for you and Bretta, and for all those around you. Some comfort may come from the fact that his short life touched so many all around the world. I am sure that I am not alone in saying that his passing is a great personal loss for us here at the Mudcat. I, too, would be looking to my church and my faith to find comfort. I am glad that you have such strong support there.

The human spirit is truly resilient, and that comes through in your expression of love for Brendan. He is so blessed to have parents of such fine character. We salute his arrival, and I will keep a candle lit tonight in celebration of him. God Bless you all.
