While employed at a very large corporation, I attended a convention where the entertainment was the Everly Brothers. Seeing as how the Everly Bros. helped me out in high school in the passion department, I was determined to sit front row center, and I did. They came on and sounded great. The real treat was the band. Emery Gordy, Herb Pedersen, Glen D. Hardin, and --- Albert Lee (among others). I immediately started scream "Country Boy." Finally the EBs gave in and had Albert step to the mic and perform the song. One of the musical highlights of my life.
