The song often goes through my rapidly-aging mind as I sang it in elementary school in Washington, DC (Takoma Elementary) in kindergarten and first grade in the 1940s. The school put on a Thanksgiving play and our first grade sang this while acting out harvesting wheat. Thanks for bringing a memory back to reality.
