Yes, we have periwinkles. My second husband was portuguese and every summer we would go down to the ocean and pick periwinkles, bring em home, steam em with salt, red pepper and celery salt. We'd sit down with a hot pot of winkles and everyone had a pin to pull em out. Delicious! My son love them.
