The Irish Traditional Music Archive has just added Joyce's Ballad Sheets to its PW Joyce Irish Music Microsite online
Two valuable scrapbooks belonging to Patrick Weston Joyce, into which he pasted some 770 ballad sheets acquired by him over years, probably from street sellers, are held in the Dublin City Library and Archive, Pearse St, Dublin 2. In a joint cooperative project, the Dublin City Library and Archive has facilitated ITMA staff in making digital copies of the scrapbooks, and have given permission for their facsimile publication as part of the Irish Traditional Music Archive's PW Joyce Irish Music Microsite.
