You did not receive the threats that many of us did. You simply do not know. Or perhaps you are pretending not to know.

This is extremely offensive (though I always tend to regard people who give extreme offense as bloody twits, and never generally take offence). The only correct part of this scurrilous paragraph is the bit that says I did not receive threats. Too right I didn't. But the worst bit is the implication of dishonesty, that I was "pretending not to know". Whatever else anyone here thinks about my posts, I'm not having people say that I am in any way dishonest. Read my lips, arsehole (and stop sending me stupid PMs while you're at it): I did not know anything at all about what is now being alleged. Not the bloody faintest inkling.
