Outlook is a robust program resident on your computer and it should keep all of your contacts and calendar and your old mail if you use it as your primary way of sending. Look in the address book (off the home tab) to see what contacts you have in there already. You should probably also visit the web version of the Verizon account to see if there is more in there that needs to be transferred into Outlook.

It would be a good idea to back up your Outlook to the Microsoft cloud so if your computer dies you have the information you can load back into Outlook on a new drive or in a new machine.
