I agree about Jackie Brown, a classic case of a kid in a candy store with too much money and no adult supervision. Indulgent, self-referential, self-congratulatory, pseudo-hip mishmash of attitudinal dialogue supported by more name actors than any director but Woody Allen should need to carry a picture. True Romance had that one great line in it where Brad Pitt, the stoner on the couch, said, "Don't condensend (sic) to me, motherfucker." That's all I remember. Reservoir Dogs was a breath of fresh, but bloody air. Pulp Fiction did more to glamorize heroin use than any ten movies I can think of, but it was original, at least.
