Thread Name: Lyr Req: Satan's Choir (Tom Harley Campbell)
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Satan's Choir (Tom Harley Campbell)
Will there be an angel band
There to take my trembling hand
To lead me on in my dark and final hour
Or will the song of death I hear
Confirm the judgment that I fear
The dreadful sound of Satan's choir

Spare me lord, oh hear my cry
A humble sinner, I've only one desire
Spare me lord, don't pass me by
I don't want to sing in Satan's choir

Will I live on in endless pain
Where the prince of darkness reigns
Will the song I sing be kindled by his fire
Will the gates of hell swing wide
Will there be no place to hide
From the sound of Satan's choir

Spare me lord, oh hear my cry
A humble sinner, I've only one desire
Spare me lord, don't pass me by
I don't want to sing in Satan's choir

Will I hear the trumpet's blast
When at last I come to pass
Will my winged soul fly higher and higher
Or will I join the ranks below
Where the wretched sinners go
To sing their songs in Satan's choir

Spare me lord, oh hear my cry
A humble sinner, I've only one desire
Spare me lord, don't pass me by
I don't want to sing in Satan's choir (x2)

Actually, I think Stewie is a bit off and Claude has a couple of errors as well...
"hear" vs "heed" - listen carefully, it is actually "hear"
"their songs" vs. "a song" - again, listen carefully, that stanza ends in a possessive plural.
