It is most unusual to find a community pleased when a CPZ is introduced although GUEST:guest its talking about car park charges rather than the new on-street arrangements.

There seems to be an anomaly in the scheme, by my reading of the rules a guest house can get permits for customers' cars to be parked on-street which would only cost a pound for a week while the OP has to pay full rate in a car park as he is in self catering.

Is Spring Vale still free of yellow lines? Its outside the new CPZ and always seemed to attract a lot of long term parking during the fetival in previous years.
