Guest Peter - Sorry if I didn't make this clear. No, this was not contradictory information published by SBC, but by other websites purporting to provide "current" information on parking in Whitby. The Googling process will direct you to the same ones I'm sure, but I deleted them from my Browser History when I realised they were a waste of space so didn't feel it worth bookmarking any links.
