Yeah, when I checked, this being Mudcat and all, wasn't sure whether this would be about apparel or LPs...my vinyl collection continues to grow, too (both kinds) and storage is a major problem. For all media. It seems I just get the LPs or the tapes or the videotapes or the CDs or the 45s or something organized (at this time only the videotapes are catalogued) and they have to be rearranged for storage reasons (well, we need someplace to put our feet!). I currently have only the trad LPs in the shelves under the stereo. Most of the classical, jazz, humor, off the wall stuff (I've got at least 2 LPs of kazoo music and at least one of African bagpipes) is temporaily stacked in the closet at the foot of the stairs. With luck, more shelves will be built in an accessible place, but some of the classical will probably go next summer to the local Public Radio station's record sale. I keep telling everybody I'm de-accessioning, but the house looks just as cluttered as it always has!
