What gnu and Rap said about hospital food... my experience with it was the same. As was noted, my appetite was depressed but that was not the fault of the food.It may well be very different in very large hospitals but when I was in with pneumonia this spring my food was HOT, palatable and plentiful. At home I may have added some spices, especially hot sauce, but given the logistics within which they work I think the dieticians and kitchens do remarkably well. I tend to think that 'hospital food', 'lawyers' and 'politicians' are knee jerk words that save people from having to think. :)
