No one doesnt seem to have heard another version of this song sung by a gentelman and two gals. It was sung much faster than anything published so far. Its a much better version than anything else Ive heard on the web. Well, thats my humble opion anyways. And Im not so sure that Carmen Miranda was the first to sing it either. My mother recorded this song on a homeade record that her dad was making in his garage during the 40's. She was born in 1934 and she said that she was around 9-10 years old from what I recall when she recorded it off the radio. That would date it around 1943-1945. Give or take for memory loss. The cool thing is, I have the record and it still plays, with a moderate amount of background noise of course but you can hear every word sung...
